Inna lilaahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon

All praise is for Allah alone.

Subhan'Allah throughout our lives we may meet and benefit from an array of different sisters.

Some we will bond with from day one, some we may never see again and some, we may bond with but never actually meet in Duniyah. That is one of the many treasures of this perfect deen of Allah.

Praise be to Allaah.
Imaam al-Bukhaari (may Allaah have mercy on him) reported in his Saheeh that ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: “I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) saying: ‘Souls are like conscripted soldiers; those whom they recognize, they get along with, and those whom they do not recognize, they will not get along with.’” (Saheeh al-Bukhaari, Kitaab Ahaadeeth al-Anbiyaa’, Baab al-Arwaah junood mujannadah).

Since starting this project in 2008 I have been blessed with many generous sisters (and brothers who give but we have no contact) but it's not just about how much or when they give. It amazes me all the time how Allah brings souls together for His sake and the beauty of real sisterhood.

I have contact with some sisters via Whatsapp for some time now whom I have never met but each one of them touches my heart in many ways Subhan'Allah.

The reason for this new post is firstly to say Jazakum'Allahu Khairan to each and everyone who gives fi sabil Illah, whether it be £1, £10 or £100 it means a lot to have that trust between us even though you may not know me.

The second reason that inspired me is the passing of sr Maria Zain.

I personally did not know of her but by His Mercy her kindness has shone through from others who have written some very touching words about her a s a person.

She returned to Allah (with His permission ) as a shaheed as she died while giving birth to her 6th child.

Praise be to Allaah.
If a woman dies with a child in her womb, or she dies during childbirth or after childbirth but within the period of nifaas (post-partum bleeding), she is considered to be a shaheedah in sha Allaah. Raashid ibn Hubaysh narrated that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) entered upon ‘Ubaadah ibn al-Saamit when he was sick and said, “Do you know who is a shaheed (martyr) in my ummah?”  The people remained silent, then ‘Ubaadah said, “Help me to sit up.” They helped him to sit up, then he said, “O Messenger of Allaah, (is it) the patient one who seeks reward from Allaah for his patience?” The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “Then the martyrs among my ummah would be very few. Being killed for the sake of Allaah is martyrdom, the plague is martyrdom, drowning is martyrdom, stomach disease is martyrdom, and if a woman dies during the post-partum period, her child will drag her to Paradise by his umbilical cord.” The umbilical cord is that which is cut by the midwife when the child is born. The hadeeth was narrated by Imaam Ahmad in his Musnad with a saheeh isnaad. (al-Musnad, 3/489). There is a corroborating report narrated by Maalik (1/233) and Abu Dawood, 3/482).

After reading such beautiful words about a sr I didn't even know, it made me reflect on my own time. Especially on FB. And the only reason I mention FB is because that is where I heard all about sr Maria. Seeing this new Newspaper article thing they have devised on FB whereby they show your past years posts, comments and highlights etc and that's when it hit me the most. The fact that on the Day of Judgement our deeds and actions will be displayed like a movie. Every single thing we did, good or bad will be shown. Will we be of those whose scales will be of benefit or be of those who are doomed to fail.

Alhamdulillah we at least have this time to repent, return to Allah with sincerity, improve our salah and remain in constant dhikr. This alone is a blessing, millions of others now have no time left to repent. For them it's too late. Let us not be of those whom Allah has left alone to ourselves. Let us be of those whom remember Allah at all times, in private and public. Let us take this new reminder as a fresh start. A chance to forgive those whom have wronged us or vice versa, a chance to make amends with anyone we may have cut ties from and more than anything, a chance to return to our Lord with full sincerity, a means of purification for our shortcomings and to thank Him alone every day for the blessing that is ISLAM.

May he guide all my family to His perfect way. Ameen.

Alhamdulillah for fresh clean water

All Praise is for Allah alone.

Update 04/06/15

Alhamdulillah another Tube Well added.

Update 08/01/15

Alhamdulillah Tube Well number 3 is now built and being used as we speak

Village Dulewala Tehsil Daria Khan District Bhaker, Pakistan.

Praise be to Allaah.

Allaah has created man to worship Him. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“And I (Allaah) created not the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me (Alone)”
[al-Dhaariyaat 51:56]

Subhan'Allah, how many times do we see adverts asking us to help people to provide fresh clean water for those in need. Some have to travel miles just for this luxury. To many of us, especially in the West, have to make little, if any effort at all.

Alhamdulillah, during Ramadhan 2014 we managed to provide 13 different communities with a Tube Well/Hand Pump. Below are the first two in use and a message from the families who have benefited.

Number One via Penny Appeal

Introduction
Message from the community
Stage one
Stage two
Complete and in use Alhamdulillah

Number Two via Muslim hands

These Tube Wells only cost just £160 and can benefit many families for up to 10 years Subhan'Allah. A great form of Sadaqa Jariyah especially if you have a relative/friend who has returned to Allah. They will receive the rewards in their grave.

Click on the following links to make that possible

Or

“Whatever is with you, will be exhausted, and whatever is with Allaah (of good deeds) will remain”
[al-Nahl 16:96]
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) told us that every man will be shaded by his charity on the Day of Resurrection, the day on which the sun will be brought close to people’s heads until Allaah passes judgement between them. Narrated by Ahmad, 16882; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani inSaheeh al-Jaami’, 4510.
So hasten to give charity and strive to make your charity ongoing, so that you may benefit from it after death. We ask Allaah to help us to do that which He loves and which pleases Him. Ameen

Sahih International

It is He who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He knows what penetrates into the earth and what emerges from it and what descends from the heaven and what ascends therein; and He is with you wherever you are. And Allah , of what you do, is Seeing. 57:4
