A Water Well for Abdal Rahman

All praise is for Allah alone.

Alhamdulillah the well is complete.

Pictures will be uploaded tomorrow in sha Allah.

Update 7/12/15

Alhamdulillah we did it. All monies have been raised for this Water Well. Amina has one more well to do then ours will be next bi ihdnIllah.

Update 5/12/15

Alhamdulillah we have £1345 so far from on and offline which the majority has been sent to Amina. Just Giving donations will be sent after 30 days bi ihdnIllah. So, that just leaves £155 remaining Subhan'Allah.

Alhamdulillah we have opened a Just Giving page to help raise the remaining balance for this Water Well.
This will not only benefit Abdal Rahman, it will also benefit all those who give/share and bring ease to a whole community who usually have to travel miles for fresh water.

Inna lilaahi wa Inna ilayhi rajioon.

One of our dear sisters son Abdal Rahman has returned to his Lord at the tender age of just 23.
Today we attended his janazah at the Masjid which was a very sad time Subhan'Allah.

We would like to raise enough to have a Water Well built in his name via Amina at Markoiro Bunda Gambia bi ihdnIllah.
At the moment offline we have £885 with a shortfall of £615.

So far we have also paid for 2 olive trees and a Tube Well and will be sponsoring a Hifdh Orphan all in his name including a whole year of sadaqa to our general commitments.

Special gifts for special people Alhamdulillah

All praise is for Allah alone.

We at Al Huriyah Sadaqa Project love to give gifts, be it small or large.

Below are some recent gifts that we sent out to special sisters. Some going through hardships and some purely to say the we love you.

Alhamdulillah a dear sister we know is going through a huge test at the moment so we thought that the recent event about fighting depression would be a good boost for her and a time to reflect on how and why Allah puts us through such trials.

We also managed to buy a couple of food parcels for families.

Alhamdulillah we also paid for Oumie to travel to Senegal to continue with the treatment needed on her hip

And last, but most definitely not the least.

Our dear Sr and friend lost her son very recently whom was only 23 years old Subhan'Allah.

We will bi ihdnIllah endeavor to raise £1500 to build a well in his honour via our dear Amina in Gambia. Markoiro Bunda Gambia are also helping us to raise the funds so that our dear Abdal Rahman may benefit from this and also anyone who donates or even intends to donate fi sabil Illah.

Alhamdulillah so far we have raised just under £400 in a few days but still a way to go.
